ACCESSORIES, INSTALLATION & FLOORING
COMBINATION GATES
Combining different materials into one gate is an approach
gaining in popularity. It allows clients to keep the best TEMPERED
attributes of the certain materials while dropping the worst. GLASS
For example, stainless steel welded wire in the bottom half
of a gate and glass in the upper half allows good airflow and
interaction with the dog and does not look like a prison
cell. Customers desiring more glass can make the ratio 1/4 STAINLESS
– 3/4 in order to maximize the clean look of the glass but STEEL GRID 6"
still allow air flow (which reduces both upfront and ongoing
HVAC cost) and the ability to interact with the dog. Materials TEMPERED
GLASS
can also be reversed to have glass on the bottom and wire on
top - whatever the customer desires.
Privacy can also be accomplished by placing isolation in
either the bottom of the swing gate and/or the bottom of
the fixed stall front. This isolation can be any of the materials
used for side isolation panels, including stainless steel, frosted
glass, FRP, high-density polyethylene and Wilsonart. It can be
effective to put the isolation in only the bottom 18” of a gate TEMPERED
and stall front, or leave the gate without isolation and employ GLASS
it in the stall front instead to satisfy dogs’ natural curiosity to
want to see out of the enclosure.
FRP FACING COMBINE YOUR SIDING
THE PUBLIC Mason Company offers the ability to
pick and choose siding choices for
STAINLESS
maximum customization. For example, STEEL GRID 18"
pair the Wilsonart or FRP Panels on
the public side with the Stainless Steel
STAINLESS STEEL panel on the inside facing the dog for
ON THE INTERIOR added security.
PATENTED STAINLESS STEEL LATCH
Mason’s Patented Stainless Steel Latch
is constructed of 100% stainless steel.
Standard on all Mason gate types, the latch
allows the gate to swing both in and out of the
run, which is essential for staff safety and control
of aggressive animals. More importantly, Mason’s
patented latch secures from outside and inside
the run, so staff can work inside the kennel
knowing the door is securely latched behind
them and also easily accessible if they have to
escape in a hurry.
The latch is self-latching and is also lockable with a padlock or leash clip.
